Itinerary in Details
Day 01- Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1345meters).
There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02- Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley.
Your sightseeing trip will start at 9 AM in the morning after breakfast. We provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. Places we visit are Pasupatinath temple, Buddhanath, Monkey temple, Bhaktpur durbar square and Kathmandu durbar square. The afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for the trek. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03- Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3660 meters).
You will be met at Gonggar Airport by your Tibetan guide. After immigration formalities take a 1.5-hour drive along 93 km road leading to Lhasa lying at an altitude of 3660 meters. It’s advisable to rest and take it easy for the remainder of the day due to Lhasa’s altitude. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04- Guided city tours in Lhasa.
Once you relinquish your delicious breakfast, you straightaway make arrangements for your sightseeing tour. Your experienced guide accompanies you to the famous monasteries of Tibet. On your awe-inspiring visit to SERA MONASTERY, you are introduced to the important aspects of Buddhism. After lunch, you once again continue exploring Tibetan ancient cultures and civilizations as you pay a visit to NORBULINGKA, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Jokhang temple provides yet another exciting and educative tour. Wandering around BARKHOR MARKETS is another major highlight of the day. Day 05- Guided City tour around PotalaPalace and Drepung Monastery.
Today you get more acquainted with the mystiques of Lhasa. In the morning after breakfast, you will set off to view majestic POTALA PALACE towering above city of Lhasa. You get to witness unique, pristine and overwhelming array of intricate Tibetan murals, temples, stupas, and tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas from a perfect vantage point. Ancient Tibetan cultures come alive with your every exploration. Later in the noon after lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped DREPUNG MONASTERY. You can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses. After this religious journey, you eventually return to your hotel for delicious dinner and well-eared peaceful sleep. Day 06- Free day at LhasaCity.
This is a day at leisure in which you are free to explore further, revisit a favorites monastery or simply sit in a café overlooking the Barkor and watch the pilgrims as they circumambulate the Jokhang, stopping regularly to peruse the merchandise at the stalls lining the route.
There is also the option of an additional tour to places such as the Tibetan Medical Centre, Ganden Monastery and Tsurphu Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08- Transfer for your final flight departure.
The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.

Q. What type of shape do I need to be in, is this trip for me?
A. This tour is suitable for average people who are moderately fit, thus no previous experience is required. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, hiking is recommended before you embark on your journey. Persons suffering from a pre-existing medical condition or disease must seek medical advice before considering the trek.
Q. What sort of accommodation can I expect in Kathmandu and in tour? A. We use standard rooms from four or five star hotels in Kathmandu with breakfast included. Please note that the guest-houses in Tibet will be of a very basic. During the tours Guesthouse, Lodges generally provide basic clean facilities with a mattress, quilt, blanket or sleeping bag. We can also offer you Ace the Himalaya sleeping bags if needed (which need to return after the trip) but it is good idea to always have your own sleeping equipment. You should not enter the kitchen unless asked to do so.
Q. What sort of food can I expect in tour? A. Most guesthouses cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian fare. Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season) and even some desserts like apple pies, pancakes, and some interesting attempts at custard. You will find a lot of garlic recommended because it assists with acclimatization – try to eat some every day. In some places you may find some meat. You can always get hot chocolate, tea, and hot lemon drinks, as well as soft drinks, and treats like chocolate and crisps.

We use private tourist vehicles for sightseeing, city tours and pickups. Depending on the group size we use van, Bus, land cruiser and supporting truck. All the vehicles are usually air-conditioned unless we are traveling in cooler areas.

Q. What is the weather & temperature like in tour? A. Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. At night it is generally cooler the days are generally warm. It is also important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected! The temperature could be as high as 15 deg C to 0 deg C low.
Q. Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip? A. These facilities will be available in most of the places while you are in Guesthouse reception by paying some service charges. Remember to bring your adapters!
